Amfi-wall® protects
the environment

Amfi-wall ® is a sustainable recycled HDPE (High Density Poly Ethylene) corrugated sheet. This corrugated sheet is dimensionally stable, UV-stabilized and practically indestructible.

Dimensionally stable
A flat plastic panel, when exposed to direct sunlight and being put partially in the ground, will expand and wave. The corrugated panel will do the same, being a natural behaviour of plastic, but due to the harmonica effect and dimensional stability, this sheet material will remain its uniform shape in the application.

Extensively tested in the practice
HDPE panels have been extensively tested by us in field practice. Two flat sheets of the most common sizes 3.000mm x 500mm x 3mm and 3.000mm x 500mm x 6mm were put against an Amfi-Wall® sized 3.000 x 500mm x 4mm. The ambient temperature was 25°C. As opposed to the flat panels the Amfi-Wall® provides a straight line of sight.

Key benefits of the Amfi-wall®

  • Straight line of sight at different temperature levels.
  • Elongated holes are superfluous, panels may be mounted directly to the wooden posts.
  • Panels are easily processed due to their compact sizes.
  • Panels may be used as stand-alone or combined with wire mesh barriers.
  • Waves will match the post-rounding’s.
  • Amfi-wall® panels are easily bended into curves.
  • Contribution to traffic safety, as car lights will not be reflected due to the wave and pattern of the Amfi-wall® panels.

Our standard versions of Fauna panels

HDPE panels have been extensively tested by us in field practice. Two flat sheets of the most common sizes 3.000mm x 500mm x 3mm and 3.000mm x 500mm x 6mm were put against an Amfi-Wall® sized 3.000 x 500mm x 4mm. The ambient temperature was 25°C. As opposed to the flat panels the Amfi-Wall® provides a straight line of sight.

Assembly instructions of an Amfi-Wall ® combined with a wire mesh construction.

• Attach the panel to the grid post with two galvanized wooden thread bolts M6x60 ( centre distance posts is 3.000mm ).
• Panels to be joined with bolts and nuts, 10 cm above the ground level and 5cm below the top. Place the bolts at least 5cm from the end.
• Apply one wave as minimum overlap.
• Fix the panels in such a manner that the waves are oriented for driving ( wave perpendicular to ground level ).
• Attach the Amfi-wall® every 100cm using binding wire to connect to the mesh barrier or bracing wire.
• Optimum is achieved by fasten the panel with a clamping strap, before fixing it to the wooden based post.

Amfi-wall® is part of the Fauna panels Product Group.
